BOOST Tabs:  This is our organic approach to all in one aquatic plant root fertilizers! Our all new blend includes organic ingredients like bone and feather meals, kelp, humic acid, rock phosphate, fish and alfalfa meals. Kelp extracts are long known for their abundance of micronutrients and application in plant fertilization. The addiction of humic acid is also used as it helps plants uptake certain nutrients better. And to top it off, we also add in rock dust for trace minerals. No synthetic fertilizers in this blend! Our blend is designed to help ensure that plant roots have both fast and slow release natural fertilizers available to them when they need them most. Not only is it more environmentally responsible, this fertilizer blend tends to be a bit longer lasting than our standard synthetic fertilizer mixes. And to make things even better, this formula includes probiotics and mycorrhizae fungus to help promote vigorous growth. This is combined with an iron rich red clay to help increase the substrate's ability to retain nutrients (See: CEC). Product is hand made, so please allow for variance in shape/size of tabs. Application is as follows - Add 1 tab per 4x4 area, preferably beneath heavy root feeding plants. Root tabs last 6-8 weeks on average, varies by system since plant stock varies. Ingredients: 80% Carbondale Red Clay Powder, 20% organic fertilizer and rock dust blend.
This mixture is comprised of multiple different elements that help promote vigorous plant growth!

We have not heard of, or seen any issues with using our root tabs and keeping invertebrates.  We highly recommend researching more into the subject if it is a concern.

Note: We are using square uncoated tabs, so placing them deep in the substrate quickly is essential, as they break down quickly!  These tabs are hand made and may vary in shape and size as they can shift and settle in their packaging.
