Ludwigia peruensis (glandulosa) -Medium-

Description: A great looking stem plant, relatively thick stem, grows upright with alternating leaves along the stem. Has beautiful reds and greens on the leaves as well as red on the stems. The deep colors in this plant really shine in higher lighting, but like other ludwigia species, it grows relatively well even in low to medium setups.
Distribution: This plant is native to the US, primarily in the southeast, like many other ludwigia species. It is often found growing on marsh banks and sometimes right out of the water, as it's rigid stems often let it break the surface.
This plant is best used as a background plant, but can be used as a midground as well in taller tanks or with regular pruning.
